Chest Compression Only CPR

You may have seen the adverts by the British Heart Foundation, featuring Vinny Jones, which promote chest compressions only.

St John Ambulance teach giving rescue breaths as part of CPR, and the Resus Council also recommend rescue breaths, but with focus on compression.  However, if you are not trained in first aid, or may not be confident about what do with rescue breaths, all parties agree that giving compression only CPR is better than standing by and doing nothing.
